Farhan Syed, DMD
Dr. Farhan Syed was born and raised in the South Bay Area. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from the University of California, Davis. He went on to obtain his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania. After completing his dental education, he joined his mother, Dr. Rafia Syed, at Syed Dental Care. He is an active member of the Santa Clara Dental Society.
Dr. Farhan Syed is a part-time clinical and preclinical faculty member at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He also keeps himself updated on the latest technologies and treatments by frequently taking dental education courses. He takes pride in providing a comprehensive, caring, and individualized approach to treatment that will meet your specific needs.
Ozge Carkan-Sozgen, DMD
Dr. Ozge is a highly skilled and experienced general dentist with a rich and diverse background in dentistry. Having begun her career as a general dentist in Turkey, Dr. Ozge moved to the United States, where she continued to expand her expertise. After graduating from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, Dr. Ozge has worked as an associate dentist in the Bay Area, gaining a reputation for providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care to adult and pediatric patients. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Ozge enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her daughter, Lina. They enjoy playing sports, going to the beach, and exploring new destinations; balancing her dedication to dentistry with a fulfilling personal life.
Rafia Syed, DDS
Dr. Rafia Syed (Retired) established Syed Dental Care in Santa Clara in 1991. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with Honors in 1975 from the University of Sind, an accredited educational institute located in Jamshoro, Pakistan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 10 grandchildren, sewing, and volunteering at our local mosque.
